About this grant

DARPA's Biological Technologies Office is soliciting proposals for transformative biological and chemical technologies supporting national security and warfighter needs; research primarily resulting in evolutionary improvements to existing practice is excluded.

Eligibility

Proposed research must not primarily result in evolutionary improvements to the existing state of practice. A proposer must receive a notification to submit a proposal before submitting a proposal. Proposal abstracts and full proposals must be applicable to HR001126S0003 as defined in the announcement; otherwise they may be deemed non-conforming and removed from consideration. All responsible sources capable of satisfying the Government's needs, including both U.S. and non-U.S. sources, may submit a proposal for consideration by DARPA. Non-U.S. organizations and individuals may participate only to the extent that they comply with necessary nondisclosure agreements, security regulations, export control laws, and other applicable governing statutes. Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, University Affiliated Research Centers, and Government Entities including National Laboratories are not eligible to propose to this solicitation.
