Dhavalkumar Patel, MD, PhD, is a biotechnology executive and physician-scientist serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of Sana Biotechnology. Before joining Sana in 2024, he was EVP and CSO at UCB and previously led research at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research Europe. He also serves in advisory and board roles across biotech, including Harbour BioMed, Mimetas, Priothera, Quell Therapeutics, and RE-AIM Therapeutics.
