She previously served as chief scientific officer of Airway Therapeutics and has held advisory roles with Harrington Discovery Institute, IRICoR, and Mogling Bio. CincyTech's portfolio page states Kurome was acquired in August 2025, although some advisory bios still describe her with her Kurome title.
