Bernadette Boden-Albala is a public health researcher and academic leader serving as Founding Dean of the UC Irvine Joe C. Wen School of Population & Public Health. Her work focuses on health equity, social determinants of disease, cardiovascular disease, stroke prevention, infectious diseases, and global health. She has also held academic leadership roles at NYU School of Global Public Health, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health.
