Nick van Bruggen is a scientist at Calico, where he serves as Fellow, Human Imaging and works on translational aging research, physiological regulation, and analysis of large human cohorts. Calico says he previously spent more than 25 years at Genentech, where he pioneered biomedical imaging for preclinical and clinical drug discovery and development. He also serves on UK Biobank's International Scientific Advisory Board, and UK Biobank lists him as principal investigator on a project studying alpha-Klotho in health and disease.
