Mehmet Toner is a Turkish-American biomedical engineer and professor affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program. He is known for work in cryobiology, biopreservation, microfluidics, and liquid-biopsy technologies, including clinically oriented cancer-diagnostics research. He has also served as a scientific founder on translational biotech efforts such as TellBio and remains active in cell preservation and gene/cell therapy research.
