Mark Rothera is a biopharma executive focused on rare disease, gene therapy, RNA therapeutics, oncology, and regenerative medicine. He became CEO and board member of TreeFrog Therapeutics in December 2025 after earlier CEO roles at Viracta Therapeutics, Silence Therapeutics, and Orchard Therapeutics. Earlier in his career he held commercial leadership roles at PTC Therapeutics, Aegerion, Shire, and GSK, and he also serves on the board of GenPharm.
