Marco Quarta is a longevity and regenerative-medicine scientist and biotech entrepreneur best known as co-founder and current Chief Scientific Officer of Rubedo Life Sciences. He founded and led Rubedo as CEO from 2018 until November 2024, when Frederick Beddingfield succeeded him and Quarta moved into the CSO role while remaining on the board. Earlier, he conducted aging and stem-cell research at Stanford/VA Palo Alto, and he is also publicly associated with Turn Biotechnologies and the nonprofit Phaedon Institute.
