Stan V. Smith is a University of Chicago-trained economist and financial consultant who has served as president of Smith Economics Group since 1985. He is known for forensic economics, damages analysis, expert-witness work, and teaching in law-and-economics contexts, including prior adjunct teaching at DePaul University. He is also a director of MAIA Biotechnology and has publicly disclosed personal share purchases in the company.
