Fyodor Urnov is a genome-editing scientist and professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he serves as Director of Therapeutic R&D at the Innovative Genomics Institute. He is a co-founder of Tune Therapeutics and, as of January 9, 2026, was also publicly named a founder of Aurora Therapeutics. His work centers on CRISPR, epigenome editing, and expanding access to genetic medicines for rare and pediatric diseases.
