Sifeng Gu is a genome engineer and functional genomics scientist working at General Proximity on high-throughput screening for induced proximity medicines. He completed a PhD at the University of California, San Diego in Alexis Komor's lab, focused on CRISPRi screens and cytosine base editing outcomes. Earlier, he studied chemistry at the University of Edinburgh and worked in industry at Bioduro and Hepalink.
