Alán Aspuru-Guzik is a Mexican-American computational chemist and AI-for-science researcher based at the University of Toronto, where he is a professor in Chemistry and Computer Science. He directs the Acceleration Consortium and is affiliated with the Vector Institute; he has also co-founded companies including Kebotix, Zapata AI, Intrepid Labs, and Axiomatic AI. His work spans quantum computing, machine learning for chemistry, self-driving laboratories, materials discovery, and drug discovery.
