Manuel Serrano is a Spanish molecular biologist known for his work on cellular senescence, tumor suppression, and cellular reprogramming. He was an Affiliated Group Leader at IRB Barcelona, where he led research on aging and regenerative medicine, and moved to Altos Labs in Cambridge in 2023 as a Principal Investigator. He has also co-founded longevity biotech ventures including Senolytic Therapeutics and Centenara Labs Senescence Therapeutics.
