Judith "Judy" Campisi (1948-2024) was an American biochemist and biogerontologist best known for pioneering work on cellular senescence and its role in aging, cancer, and age-related disease. She was a professor at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and previously a senior scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Campisi also served as a scientific founder of Unity Biotechnology and advised multiple aging-related organizations and companies, making her a major scientific influencer in longevity biotech.
