Uri Alon is an Israeli systems biologist and professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science known for foundational work on network motifs, gene regulation, and the design principles of biological circuits. He trained in physics, completed postdoctoral work at Princeton, and was appointed visiting professor in Stanford's bioengineering department in 2021. His later work has extended into endocrine regulation, systems medicine, and age-related disease dynamics.
