Arieh Warshel is an Israeli-American biochemist, biophysicist, and computational chemistry pioneer. He shared the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems. Warshel has worked at the University of Southern California since 1976 and is currently a Distinguished Professor and Dana and David Dornsife Chair in Chemistry.
