Luca Pani is a psychiatrist, pharmacologist, and drug-development/regulatory expert. He has served as Director General of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), represented Italy at the EMA's CHMP/SAWP, and holds academic appointments at the University of Miami and the University of Modena & Reggio Emilia.
