Julie Sunderland is a venture investor and healthcare operator best known as co-founder and managing partner of Biomatics Capital Partners, a healthcare and life-sciences venture firm. Before Biomatics, she was director of program-related investments at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she led the foundation's $1.5 billion strategic investment pool. She has also served on multiple portfolio company boards, was interim CEO of eGenesis, and in 2025 was listed as Founder and President of Oriane Consulting.
