Arnold Kriegstein, MD, PhD, is a neurologist and neuroscientist at the University of California, San Francisco focused on neural stem cells, brain development, and cell-based therapies for nervous-system disorders. He is the John Bowes Distinguished Professor in Stem Cell and Tissue Biology and the founding director of UCSF's Eli and Edythe Broad Center of Regeneration Medicine and Stem Cell Research. He is also a co-founder of Neurona Therapeutics and serves on the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation Scientific Council.
