Steven "Steve" Finkbeiner is a neuroscientist and physician-scientist focused on neurodegenerative and psychiatric disease. He is director of the Gladstone Center for Systems and Therapeutics, a senior investigator at Gladstone Institutes, and a professor in the Department of Neurology at UC San Francisco. His lab develops patient-derived disease models, robotic microscopy, and AI-based methods to study Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, and related disorders.
