Simone Bianco is a computational biologist and physicist who serves as VP, Computation at Altos Labs. Previously he was a research staff member and manager at IBM Almaden Research Center, and he is a founding principal investigator of the NSF Center for Cellular Construction. He is active in the scientific ecosystem through SIAM editorial and committee roles, public talks, and interdisciplinary work spanning AI, biology, and regenerative medicine.
