Maria Shriver is an American journalist, author, former First Lady of California, and founder of The Women's Alzheimer's Movement. Through Shriver Media, The Sunday Paper, and her public reporting and writing, she operates as a media and advocacy figure focused on women's health, brain health, aging, and social impact. She also serves as chief visionary and strategic advisor to Cleveland Clinic's Women's Comprehensive Health and Research Center and co-founded MOSH with her son Patrick Schwarzenegger.
