Eric Heil is a healthcare and life-sciences investor-operator who serves as Managing Partner at Medical Excellence Capital, an early-stage precision-health venture firm. Before MEC, he co-founded and led venture-backed companies including RightCare, which was acquired by naviHealth, and Upward Health, and earlier worked at Domain Associates. In 2025 he was appointed CEO and director of Ladder Bio while continuing to hold board roles across biotech companies including Nobias Therapeutics, GC Therapeutics, and ProJenX.
