Across industry and research, he has held senior roles at the Gates Foundation and Illumina and has founded or chaired multiple biotech companies including Lyell Immunopharma, GRAIL, Juno Therapeutics, Sonoma Biotherapeutics, and LifeMine Therapeutics.
