Amy J. McMichael is a board-certified dermatologist and professor in the Department of Dermatology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She previously chaired the department and has held national leadership roles including past president of the Skin of Color Society and the National Medical Association Dermatology Section, as well as a recent board seat at the American Academy of Dermatology. Her clinical and research focus centers on hair and scalp disorders, psoriasis, skin of color dermatology, mentorship, and clinical-trial participation.
