He is CEO and Founder of OrsoBio, where he leads a venture-backed obesity and metabolic-disorders company; OrsoBio says he previously served as Senior Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head for Liver Diseases at Gilead Sciences and earlier worked at Human Genome Sciences and Celera Genomics. A 2021 Newswise release also identified him as CEO of MitoPower, a biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for disorders associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.
