Korkut Uygun is a biomedical engineer and transplant-preservation researcher affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is a prominent scientific figure in organ preservation, supercooling, and cryobiology, and public materials describe him as a leader of the Center for Biostasis at MGH.
