Albert (Al) Wiegman is a healthcare venture investor who currently serves as Managing Director and Vice President, Head of Ventures at Fresenius Medical Care Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Fresenius Medical Care. Fresenius says he has more than 25 years of venture capital experience and has directly participated in 50 early-stage investments across software, healthcare IT, medical devices, and healthcare services. Before Fresenius, he worked at Safeguard Scientifics and was previously a partner at HLM Venture Partners.
