Evan Rachlin, MD is the co-founder and managing partner of Ascenta Capital, a biotech venture firm he launched in 2023 with Lorence Kim. Before Ascenta, he was a managing director at Blackstone Life Sciences, Head of Strategy at Moderna, and a principal at Bain Capital Ventures. He serves on the boards of several Ascenta portfolio companies including Iambic Therapeutics, Cardurion Pharmaceuticals, OrsoBio, and Alpha-9 Oncology, and also sits on the board of Boston Children's Hospital Trust.
