Aykut Uren, MD, is a Georgetown University cancer researcher and professor focused on molecular oncology and targeted therapies for pediatric sarcomas, including Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma. He is a member of the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, directs Georgetown's Biacore Molecular Interaction Shared Resource, and was named a National Academy of Inventors Fellow. His work includes patents and translational drug-discovery efforts such as YK-4-279 and related sarcoma therapeutics.
