Dr. Norbert H. Hauel is a medicinal chemist and scientific advisor with more than 40 years of drug-discovery experience. He led medicinal chemistry programs at Boehringer Ingelheim from 1979 to 2016 across cardiovascular, oncology, and central nervous system programs, and is publicly associated with thrombin-inhibitor research that advanced BIBR 1048 for clinical development. He is currently listed by Mogling Bio as a Medicinal Chemistry Advisor leading its med-chem program.
