Carmela Abraham, PhD, is a neuroscientist and Professor Emerita of Biochemistry and Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics at Boston University School of Medicine whose work has focused on Alzheimer's disease, aging, and the Klotho protein. She co-founded Klogene/Klogenix around Klotho-related therapeutics and later became Chief Science Officer at ADvantage Therapeutics following the acquisition of Klogenix IP. She also serves as a Venture Partner/advisor with quadraScope and sits within the Alzheimer's research advisory ecosystem.
