Pamela Maher, PhD is a Research Professor at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where she leads the Cellular Neurobiology Laboratory. Her work focuses on Alzheimer's disease, neurodegeneration, aging biology, and natural-product-derived therapeutics, including compounds such as CMS121 and J147 that Salk says have advanced into clinical trials.
