Professor Cheng Ching-Yu is a Singapore-based clinician-scientist specializing in ophthalmology, genetic epidemiology, and data science. He is Director of the Centre for Innovation and Precision Eye Health at NUS Medicine and has led the Singapore Epidemiology of Eye Diseases (SEED) programme since 2014, building a major eye-disease epidemiology database and biobank. On 18 February 2025, NUS Medicine announced his appointment as Assistant Dean (Research), effective 1 March 2025.
