About
Adam Frost, MD, PhD is a cell biologist and structural biologist currently serving as a Principal Investigator at the Altos Labs Bay Area Institute of Science. Before joining Altos, he was an Associate Professor and the Herbert Boyer Junior Faculty Endowed Chair in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco. His work focuses on molecular networks governing cellular homeostasis, using cryo-EM, genetics, biochemistry, and imaging to study organelle biology, protein synthesis control, and stress responses relevant to aging and disease.
