Will Li is a Hong Kong-based hedge fund manager and founder/CIO of Ocean Arete Limited, also described by Brummer as Arete Capital Partners. He founded the firm in 2012 and runs the Arete Macro Fund, a global macro strategy with emphasis on China, Asia, and developed markets. Before launching Arete, he worked in senior investment-banking roles at Deutsche Bank and UBS after starting his career at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong.
