Lonnie Shea, Ph.D., is a biomedical engineer and regenerative-medicine researcher at the University of Michigan, where the university's March 2023 regents record names him the Steven A. Goldstein Collegiate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. His research and translational work span biomaterials, tissue engineering, drug and gene delivery, autoimmune disease, diabetes, and cancer.
