John Orwin is a biotech executive and board leader with more than 25 years of experience across biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He joined Samsara BioCapital as a Venture Partner in 2024 after serving as President and CEO of Atreca, and he currently holds chairman and board roles at multiple biotech companies including AnaptysBio. Earlier in his career he held senior roles at Genentech, Relypsa, Johnson & Johnson, Affymax, and Rhone-Poulenc Rorer.
