George Davey-Smith is a British epidemiologist and Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Bristol, where he is affiliated with the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit. He is widely associated with methodological work on causal inference in population health, including the influential 2003 Mendelian randomization paper co-authored with Shah Ebrahim. He also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of Relation Therapeutics.
