Philip Ashton-Rickardt is an immunologist and biotech executive focused on neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative disease. Public sources show he founded Smith Therapeutics in 2017, joined AZTherapies as Senior Vice President of Immunology after AZTherapies acquired Smith in October 2019, and was listed by Sigilon Therapeutics as Chief Scientific Officer in a 2023 SEC filing. Earlier in his career he held academic posts at the University of Chicago and Imperial College London.
