His Alta biography says he has roughly 30 years of investing experience and serves on the boards of companies including Tyra Biosciences, Vir Biotechnology, eGenesis, Kelonia Therapeutics, MBrace Therapeutics, Variant Bio, Amplitude Therapeutics, and SciThera. Before Alta, he was a Senior Advisor at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and earlier was a General Partner at Frazier Healthcare Ventures and a longtime investor at Domain Associates.
