Richard DiMarchi is an American peptide chemist, distinguished professor at Indiana University, and a prominent scientific figure behind major diabetes and obesity therapeutics. He previously served as a Group Vice President at Eli Lilly and later Novo Nordisk, and is recognized for contributions to Humalog, rGlucagon, Forteo, and GLP-1/GIP-based obesity science. He has also co-founded multiple biotech companies including MBX Biosciences, Calibrium, MB2, Marcadia, Ambrx, and Assembly.
