Professor Sharon Lewin AO is an Australian infectious diseases physician, virologist, and research leader. She is the inaugural Director of the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity and Director of the Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics, and served as President of the International AIDS Society from 2022 to 2024. Her work focuses on HIV cure research, pandemic therapeutics, and infectious disease preparedness.
