Kevin Taegeun Choi is the CEO and co-founder of Mediwhale, a South Korean digital health company developing AI-based retinal imaging tools for cardiometabolic, kidney, and eye-disease risk assessment. Mediwhale says he studied Industrial and Management Engineering at POSTECH and has led the company through international clinical and commercial expansion. According to Mediwhale and Business Insider, his own glaucoma diagnosis and vision loss in 2016 helped inspire the company’s early-detection mission.
