Alexander Denner, Ph.D., is a healthcare-focused activist investor and the founding partner/chief investment officer of Sarissa Capital Management LP. Before Sarissa, he held senior investment roles at Icahn Capital, Viking Global Investors, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, and SALT says he has invested in healthcare for two decades. He has also served on major biotech boards including Biogen and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, and previously chaired or served on boards such as ARIAD, The Medicines Company, and Bioverativ.
