Eric M. Verdin is a Belgian-born geroscientist and physician who has served as President and CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging since November 2016 while also holding a professorship in medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. His research focuses on aging biology, metabolism, diet, epigenetic regulators, and immune aging, and he has also held advisory and scientific-board roles across the longevity biotech ecosystem, including Circulate Health, Timeline, and Deciduous Therapeutics.
