Johan Auwerx is a professor at EPFL in Lausanne, where he holds the Nestle Chair in Energy Metabolism and leads the Laboratory of Integrative Systems Physiology. His research focuses on mitochondria, metabolism, aging, and disease translation, and he has co-founded several biotech companies including Mitobridge and Vandria.
