Atta Behfar, M.D., Ph.D., is a Mayo Clinic physician-scientist focused on regenerative medicine, cardiology, and translational biomanufacturing. He co-founded RION, a Mayo Clinic spinout developing platelet-derived exosome therapeutics and related aesthetic products, and has served on the board of H-CYTE. By September 2025, he had also taken the chief medical officer role at Intent Biologics, a company launched from RION's platform.
