Dario Alessi is a biochemist and professor at the University of Dundee focused on protein phosphorylation, ubiquitylation, and Parkinson's disease biology. He directs the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit and the Dundee Signal Transduction Therapy Unit, which works with pharmaceutical companies on translational research. He also serves as a scientific advisor to organizations including the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Vincere Bio.
