Francesco De Rubertis is a biotech venture capitalist and co-founder/Partner at Medicxi, the life sciences investment firm spun out of Index Ventures in 2016. Before Medicxi, he spent roughly two decades at Index Ventures, where he helped build its life sciences practice. He has served on the boards of multiple biotech companies including Centessa Pharmaceuticals, Rivus Pharmaceuticals, Levicept, Alys Pharmaceuticals, TOAD Oncology, D3 Bio, Ottimo Pharma, and previously other life sciences portfolio companies.
